Our Go-To” Recommendation: Tech Lighting”

Posted on by admin

We’re huge fans of Tech Lighting, and for good reason. This lighting manufacturer has been going strong for over 25 years. The brand is famous for its low-voltage fixtures (e.g., pendants, monorails), but it offers so much more, including integrated LED fixtures (note: all of Tech Lighting’s fixtures carry a one-year warranty; the integrated LEDs are warrantied for five years).

Another worthy note: All of Tech Lighting’s designs and engineering take place in-house. And while the company sources its gorgeous artesian glass from around the world, all assembly and shipping happens stateside in its facility outside Chicago.

We have many go-to Tech Lighting recommendations:

 1. Our go-to kitchen system. Tech Lighting’s monorail is a flexible, low-voltage system that allows you to use both pendants and adjustable heads to perfectly direct light wherever you want.

The Akova Pendant is a perfect example of one of the pendants you can use in Tech Lighting’s monorail, thanks to the fact it’s only seven inches in diameter. Even though the Akova is inspired by mid-century design, this piece “elevates the simple sphere into an elegant contemporary statement.”

2. Our go-to bathroom fixtures. Say hello to the Span LED Bath Bar. This edge-lit LED is equal parts sleek and fun, not to mention it will provide excellent task lighting over a sink.

3. Our go-to all-purpose flush mount. The Cirque flush mount comes in two excellent sizes: 6 inches or 11 inches. Choose the right fit for your space and count on this mount to give the ideal amount of ambient light.

Or if squares are more your thing, you can opt for the aptly named Boxie it’s a square version of the Cirque.

4. go-to for drop-dead gorgeous pendants with a contemporary flair. The Patrona dazzles in a Satin Gold or Satin Nickel Finish.

Do you have a project coming up that could use a contemporary touch? Stop by and see some of these favorite pieces and more from Tech Lighting.
